What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is software that can understand a request, make decisions, and take actions across your tools. Unlike a simple script that only follows one rigid path, an agent can look at the situation in front of it and then do the next step.

What an agent can do#

A typical agent might:

  • Answer a customer inquiry
  • Update your CRM
  • Book an appointment
  • Send a follow-up
  • Complete a few of those steps in a row, without a person doing each one by hand

The exact actions depend on the tools you already use and the process you want handled.

How this is different from a chatbot#

A chatbot mainly answers questions. An AI agent can also take action: it can look things up, update records, send follow-ups, and complete multi-step tasks.

Where agents show up in our work#

AdvancedAI.tech builds custom AI agents, workflow automations, and AI assistants. An agent is a good fit when a task is repetitive, follows a pattern, and currently needs a person to click through several tools to finish it.

We connect agents to the systems you already have — your CRM, email, spreadsheets, and other business apps — so you do not have to switch platforms to get value from them.

Models behind the work#

We use leading AI models like OpenAI and Claude, picked to fit the job. The model is one part of the build. The rest is the process, the tools, and the training so your team can use the agent with confidence.

What happens if you want one built#

Work starts with a free discovery call, then a custom proposal. After launch, we train you and your team, and every project includes 90 days of support. Additional support can be arranged after that.
